Work alongside qualified engineers on consultancy projects. Do the same role as a graduate engineer.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was given lots of responsibility. Firstly, I have been working on-site and have been put in charge of an essential aspect of the works. Also have undertaken important calculations and checks.

I have developed all my existing stills as they have been used on real life situations. I have also learnt many new skills that I wouldn't have developed not undertaking this experience.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Lots of support and guidance. Senior engineers were always there to help. Also given a line manager and buddy who were always there to support.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was good with everyone working to a common goal. The company have many ethics and goals which have created a positive general atmosphere.
