Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It was a 2-day virtual insight programme held on zoom, with several talks and interactive workshops to help students know more about the company's culture and its internal structure. On the second day there was also a group case study. In general the event was really insightful; I particularly enjoyed the case study and the presentation skills workshop. The only down side of the programme is that it was virtual.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really insightful, as it provided a general overview of the different divisions and subdivisions available at the firm

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Through the programme I mainly developed my networking skills. I had the chance to meet and interact with various inspirational people from the company, as well as great personalities from my cohort. Also, I learnt about how to effectively give presentations, thanks to the tailored presentation skills workshop held by EY.
