Assisting the team with processes by running reports and completing ad-hoc requests.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I have been given lots of responsibility throughout my time at Disney. As the months went on I was given more work and complex tasks to complete and well as being trusted to work independently.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Great improvements to my Excel knowledge; been given more responsibility; due to Covid been able to show adaptability by working from home; greater understanding of the finance that goes on within a corporation; developed teamwork and communication skills.

I received a huge amount of support from my manager and team. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I loved working at Disney. The company culture was fun and joyful and there was always a happy and enthusiastic atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my placement very much. It was a shame to not get to go into the office due to Covid, however, everyone was so welcoming over zoom and I felt like I got the same amount of support virtually as I would have in person.
