Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had a series of talks from professionals in each division of the firm to give us an insight into some of the work they do, and got to implement their advice in a series of presentations and pitches.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really useful to hear about the potential roles available to get a greater understanding about a potential career in this industry.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have learnt how to evaluate investment opportunities (on a basic level) and developed my presentation and teamwork skills, particularly splitting up our workload to meet a time constraint for our presentation.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture at the company seemed very positive and Fidelity is definitely the type of environment one would want to work in, and this was apparent just from spending a few days listening to people at the company and seeing the office in person on the final day.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight as it gave me the opportunity to learn about the firm and its business and to put into practice some of the skills we were taught over the programme. I would definitely like to explore further opportunities at Fidelity as a result of taking part in the insight.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fidelity International
Whilst we are taught everything about the firm on the programme, it is definitely worth reading up on the firm before joining, as there is a lot of information to take in over the three days.
