Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Completed a rotational programme in Asset Management Operations. I rotated across Fund Services and Product Delivery/Management. I worked on live projects, shadowed, and contributed to meaningful projects.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
When given tasks/projects I was given the responsibility of deciding how to approach them, and choose what direction I wanted to take them in.

Yes I gained new experience in Power BI, Power App and Power Automate. I also developed my excel and ppt skills.

We were provided with a manger, mentor, and buddy. This was alongside all the other employees in the office who were very helpful.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was brilliant. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They all would answer any questions I had and lots of different business areas did sessions with us to give us insights into the different areas of the business. I got involved in the weekly 5 aside matches and engaged in a Special Olympics Initiative being run across the business, trying to increase engagement.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed it, everything from the learning to the people. It was all incredibly rewarding and I am really proud & happy to say I have worked at Fidelity.
