The open day provided valuable insight into Winston Taylor’s capabilities and the breadth of its work. A partner introduced the firm’s key practice areas and discussed its commitment to responsible business practices, including sustainability initiatives and inclusion networks.
I particularly enjoyed hearing from trainees about commercial awareness and their experiences at the firm. Their personal insights highlighted the supportive working environment and gave me a better understanding of the firm’s culture.
An associate then delivered an engaging session on emerging companies and the firm’s M&A practice. I found the discussion of its venture capital work especially interesting, as it offered insight into the firm’s involvement in this area and its significant clients.
Finally, the graduate recruitment team provided practical advice on submitting a strong application, helping me better understand how to demonstrate my suitability for the firm.
