What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everybody was incredibly friendly, and interesting. It was clear that they wanted to be there and were interested in finding out more about us and about potentially recruiting us in the future. This is incredibly important as it is nice to know that I'm applying to a firm where they take a genuine interest from you from day one.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
By far the greatest insight from any law firm open day I have attended (roughly 15). Everything was so informative and there was plenty of opportunity to network, raise questions and converse with the presenters and with other people on the open day.

That it is worth applying to. The US-firm stereotypes are incorrect and the work and training at Gibson Dunn is of the highest quality and it does not seem cutthroat; everybody is interested in your development.
