Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Open Day included insight into the firm’s specialties, application process, and a specific overview on their Disputes and Regulations Practice. It involved sitting through panels, presentations, and a quick interactive quiz at the end of the day.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great! I really enjoyed hearing from trainees and associates - I got a lot of insight into the responsibilities they’re provided so early in their career journey, and what they end up doing later on as established partners. I also really enjoyed the personal anecdotes provided by speakers, as well as practical advice.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere was very friendly, encouraging and welcoming. I felt that both the recruitment team and lawyers were excited to see us and tell us about themselves/the firm. Everyone was extremely enthusiastic, and it made me feel inspired and energised.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really, really enjoyed the insight. I felt like I learned a lot about the firm and also about the law sector in general (as a non law student). I also got to grips with the different sector and practice areas of the firm, which was incredibly valuable and interesting to me. I will admit, I was hoping for more interactive activities, such as an exercise analysing a business scenario in groups.
