Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight scheme consisted of a trainee panel, an introduction to international disputes and corporate transactions as well as a pro bono panel. It was structured very well and gave the participants the opportunity to participate in a commercial awareness workshop.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was exciting to learn about the different areas of law, and learn what different solicitors do day-to-day in these areas. The wide variety of sectors available at Gibson Dunn is enticing, and the support available is also encouraging.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The firm has a very friendly atmosphere, and everyone from the trainees, to the associates and partners were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight day, and learned a lot about corporate law, and more importantly, Gibson Dunn’s values and culture. It gave me an opportunity to ask questions and get useful tips for the vacation scheme application.
