Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The open day started with a series of talks from different partners and associates at the firm as well as a talk on interview hints and tips from the graduate recruitment team and a Q and A session with the current trainees. In the afternoon we took part in a commercial awareness workshop activity.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was incredibly insightful as we were given the opportunity to hear from partners at the firm, the areas which they work in and learn about the firms core values. We were also given extensive information about the vacation scheme as well as the training contract and what these two roles would entail.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed my commercial awareness skills on this open day by attending the commercial awareness workshop. We were given the opportunity to work in teams to debate the use of driverless cars. In the allocated time we were required to discuss the key points and create a presentation.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
From the start we were given a warm welcome and the general atmosphere of the company seemed open, friendly and collaborative.
