Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Evri?

Really good, everyone here has been so supportive answering any questions I have. They provided me with all equipment and have been genuinely lovely to work for I’ve really enjoyed my time so far. I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in so many different areas and really broaden my knowledge

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

I love the diversity of my tasks, it’s great than I am genuinely using everything that I have learnt in my degree. My main responsibilities include working on the website ux, creating comms elements, creating marketing strategies and developing them until project completion

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

5/5
I’ve had the opportunity to both lead and support a range of tasks, being trusted with responsibility and not denied any opportunity to voice my opinions. I feel like everybody takes me seriously with a genuinely supportive nature

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

5/5
I think the pay and bonus is exceptionally good especially for a grad scheme where it is commonly much lower. I have friends in similar job roles on significantly less

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

5/5
I think I’m receiving a great, all round breadth of knowledge with the opportunity to collaborate which a bunch of different teams from product development to marketing to website ux

How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

5/5
My manager pushes me to get involved in tasks outside of my comfort zone with the right support from experts. He also provides me with the opportunity to choose which projects I’d like to get involved with so to appreciate my preferences and improve my skill set

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?

5/5
I was assigned a mentor which really helped especially at the start of my journey here. But my manager has been exceptional at supporting me with anything inside or outside work related. When I first started I was serving two jobs and he regularly checked in the workload was okay for me.

How is your work-life balance?

5/5
I enjoy work and have the time to spend my weekends and evenings freely. Working from home also enables me the flexibility to do the things I love such as go to the gym before work without having to get up ridiculously early

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

5/5
Everyone was really welcoming when I joined and made active effort to introduce themself. My team is really supportive and have never made me feel like any question is too much

How would you rate Evri initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

5/5
From what I’ve seen and heard, any adjustment that anyone has needed is approved. There seems to be a large amount of diversity across workers and whenever I have had to have a few hours to go to a physio appointment, it’s been absolutely no issue

How would you rate Evri CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

5/5
I respect that Evri are trying with their sustainability initiatives and I can see that socially they’re investing in students and the next generation of workers which is really refreshing to see. After university, it’s so hard to get a job when you haven’t had chance to get experience and I got hit with so many rejections so it’s fab to see that they’re encouraging personal growth amongst the younger generation

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Evri to a friend?

Yes

Why?

I think they’re all round good to work for, a nice environment to physically be in with great benefits including a fair wage, a flexible schedule and lovely people

How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

5/5
Exactly what I wanted and was looking for, the job description told me that I would be facing a bunch of different tasks and I am, perhaps even more than I expected. Those who did my interview are the same as those in my team so they was able to give me great insight into what my everyday day would look like

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Evri?

Just to remain calm and make sure you know your stuff. The different stages revolved around your knowledge of business and so it’s important to retain what you’ve learnt at uni and be able to demonstrate it practically
