Day to day depends on your team. Most teams do a daily standup to review work every morning. Then you’ll get on with what work your given, throughout the day you may have meetings which you have to attend
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, during my placement I was given solo projects to work on and complete along with little guidance which was difficult yet rewarding
