Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Very enjoyable. You’re treated very well as a graduate, got to try different things, the people are great, the work is interesting and the company is exciting to be involved in
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I got to be a strategy and sourcing buyer. So basically I would source new projects and parts for launch cars and projects. Got to go to market, negotiate and implement them to be taken through to launch
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

We got £250 reduced to £100 for an out side of work activity each year, we got to experience an off road experience, track time, and extra perks within the scheme.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Brilliantly. In our first year we did a whole course throughout the year for developing key skills in the professional environment, and then practised them in real time each day

How would you rate JLR CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

Literally did one yesterday! We helped a local charity redo its garden space for children with learning difficulties. We built a shed, raised beds, removed a tree stump, weeded the ground all to help for new renovations in.

Everything I would have asked for an more
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to JLR?
If you don’t get in straight away it’s not the end of the world, I didn’t get in immediately in the first round of application and still ended up working at the company
