Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Putting together powerpoints for members of the FMCG team.
Collating information from the news or other departments to share.
Shadowing licensee meetings and answering any questions they might have- usually insight requests

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes as I was set my own projects which I would complete and then present to the team to showcase my work. It was hard to built relationships and trust by working remotely but I feel I got as much out of the experience as I could in this situation.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Huge amount of support as I had a 30 minute call with my manager every day. I could ask her anything about any task and if she could not help she would point me to someone who could.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Really positive. Everyone was happy to put in a call with me to catch up or teach me something about their role. Everyone in the EMEA team seemed to get on really well and had all worked in the company for quite a while, so relationships were strong.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed it.
I got a lot out of the work I did and enjoyed the tasks given to me. the team made an effort to give me a variation to keep each day exciting. The people were so friendly which makes a huge difference.
