Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
INTERFACE was an Open Day where attendants had the opportunity to learn more about the IGNITE training contract and the tech work that the firm does. It involved attending talks from all levels of the firm, doing interactive sessions, and networking with members of the firm.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very useful in understanding not only the legal roles available, but also business roles such as those available in the Best Delivery Hub, and the intersection between the two types of roles.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Through the interactive session, I had the opportunity to apply innovative solutions to the questions posed, and also developed my teamwork skills through a group task. Through the networking sessions, I developed my communication skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Overall the company seemed very friendly, which encouraged me to apply for a training contract. I spoke to those at every level of the Firm, who were all very approachable, which I appreciated. I received the impression that the culture at the Firm is hard-working and ambitious while also being collegiate.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I extremely enjoyed INTERFACE. I had a few questions going into the day about the IGNITE training contract, and I found everyone at the Firm really helpful in both answering my questions and providing me with a real insight into the culture at the Firm, which I appreciated. Furthermore, in the various talks all the speakers were engaging and educational, so I certainly learnt a lot.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Clifford Chance
To really research the Firm and attend an Open Day if possible; you can learn a lot online, but being able to physically meet and communicate with members of the Firm was indispensable in my decision-making.
