Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The first week of the experience was knowledge-based, classroom-style teaching. We spoke to representatives from all departments within the firm, providing a comprehensive and in-depth overview of work at Clifford Chance.
Week 2 consisted of shadowing a team within the firm. This was an amazing experience to live the day-to-day life of a trainee and provided unique opportunities to interact and ask questions with other lawyers.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was asked to do independent tasks under the supervision of my supervisor. It was my responsibility to communicate my workload, any tasks I was struggling with or next steps when I completed tasks.
