Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

In my role as a SPARK intern I did an array of things. The main segment of the 9 month scheme was a two week period in the Clifford Chance London office. The first week was centred around gaining insights into the firm and its practice areas and the second week was shadowing. During shadowing I was able to get involved in live matters.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a similar (slightly less) responsibility to a trainee during my shadowing week.

I would firstly encourage them strongly to apply (as long as I believed that they would be a good fit). Second, I would advise them to keep the written elements of their application very specific to Clifford Chance and the work that they do.
