Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role involved extensive market research, conversations with different Visa providers, sending out RFIs, presenting to senior leaders.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

So much more than I had imagined- responsbility to speak to stakeholders both under the supervision of my manager and without, as well as being trusted to use my intuition on projects I was trusted to make decisions.

A lot- both intially from my recruiter and then throughout. Specifically from my manager, but the wider team and other people at visa were so willing and able to help to me.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

So much- both my team and the organisation were so helpful and willing to help. Socially, I was able to integrate really well with the other interns and we had a social planned and provided for us.
