Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - I was given the opportunity to directly speak to the Financial Director of a client within the second week of my internship - very exciting!

The opportunity to work on site and speak directly to the client allows you to develop your problem solving and communication skills. Also, Microsoft Excel is heavily used so computer literacy is definitely improved.

Fairly relaxed working environment which allowed me to get to know my other coleagues, which is vital when you only have a 6-week period to work in.
