Overall, how would you describe your experience at Samsung Electronics?
Very exciting - working on new smartphone launches and innovative marketing activations.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Marketing - new product launch campaigns, promotions, partnerships & events across media like online, social, radio, TV, OOH. A key highlight was organising an in-person activation at UKs biggest gaming festival.
Product Management - new product launch Go-to-Market strategy ensuring alignment from cross company stakeholders like sales, marketing, customer service and others. Key highlight was seeing unreleased products before they launch and coming up with strategies on how to best launch them to the market.

Work load can be challenging at times (especially around new product launch periods) but you get to learn quickly in a short period.

Culture is fast moving with flexible remote working policy (3 days in the office per week).

Recruitment process & onboarding was very detailed from pre-boarding manager meeting to a 2 day company deep dive right at the start.

Ask as many questions as you can at the beginning as there are a lot of things that will be new to you.
