Overall, how would you describe your experience at Samsung Electronics?
My experience at Samsung so far has been great. The graduate scheme provides excellent exposure to different areas of the business, while giving you a high level of trust, responsibility and ownership from an early stage. It has been a great opportunity to develop both professionally and personally while gaining a broad understanding of the business.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
In my current role, my main focus is helping to drive the profitability of our business through strategic decision-making, cross-functional collaboration and working closely with key stakeholders. I particularly enjoy having the opportunity to work on projects that have a tangible impact on the business and being given ownership and responsibility from an early stage.

Why?
I would recommend Samsung because it gives you the opportunity to gain broad exposure to a large, global business while taking on meaningful responsibility from an early stage. The graduate scheme allows you to experience different areas of the business, build a strong network and develop both professionally and personally. I’ve also really valued the supportive culture and the trust given to graduates to take ownership of their work.

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Samsung Electronics?
I would recommend being yourself throughout the recruitment process and taking the time to understand Samsung’s business and culture. Be prepared to demonstrate examples of when you have taken ownership, worked collaboratively and shown a willingness to learn. The graduate scheme offers a lot of responsibility and exposure to the business, so showing that you are proactive and willing to get involved is important
