Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
This event provided an excellent opportunity to understand how technology directly impacts how the firm delivers legal services, experiences of trainees and associated, and advice on submitting an impactful application.
Attendees were provided with lunch and an opportunity to meet other attendees and graduate recruitment team. This was followed by interesting sessions on how Clifford Chance utilise AI and technology to provide best delivery solutions for lawyers and clients, interactive critical thinking and application sessions on "validating assumptions" and a panel session with future and current trainees.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
INTERFACE helped me better understand the opportunities available and how I could make an impactful application to the firm. I had the opportunity to learn more about the firm and the culture, which is an important aspect for me in a future employer.
Clifford Chance clearly showed that they are breaking down barriers wherever possible, it was an excellent opportunity to network with other like minded students from all types of backgrounds (STEM, Maths, Law, Undergrads, Graduates).
I left feeling extremely excited and even more passionate about applying for the firm!

This insight day built my confidence in networking with students, staff and associates. In addition to public speaking, by allowing me the opportunity to ask questions in front of all attendees. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] presented a fun and interactive session on validating assumptions and the importance of this when proposing and listening to new ideas, this made me think about how to apply this in my current and future role, and how this could make me a better lawyer in future.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Excellent! I was completely surprised by how comfortable the graduate recruitment team made me feel and the atmosphere created. This really allowed me the chance to speak openly about my passions, my background and ask questions.
The firm demonstrated their commitment to diversity and inclusivity, which I have found challenging to find at many other large law firms.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Highly enjoyed the day and I hope to have the opportunity to visit more in-person events, or train with Clifford Chance in the future.
