Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
There were multiple panels with different speakers who discussed how LGBTQ+ individuals navigate a career in commercial law. External speakers also discussed their experience within wider society and this was empowering. There were also many opportunities for networking during the event. Finally, the application workshop covered important tips and skills needed to complete a successful Clifford Chance application.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
By the end of the event, I was able to understand the different roles available within the firm.

I learnt the importance of being yourself in the workplace and the need to stand up for other members of the LGBTQ+ community. It was also interesting to learn the important skills needed to create a succinct and persuasive application!
