Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The first three days consisted of presentations given by different departments and areas of the firm. The last two days consisted of shadowing a partner in Global Financial Markets. Over the course of the week there were many opportunities to get involved and ask questions.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was useful to see the role through the shadowing as I felt like I was seeing what it would actually be like if I had that position. The firm was incredibly honest and open about how it is run. This strengthened my desire to secure a training contract at the firm.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone from trainee to partner level was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was apart of the team by the end of the two days shadowing!

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight and would recommend it to anyone considering a career in commercial or corporate law. It’s an amazing opportunity and will provide you with a strong foundation for your legal career.
