Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Institutional Sales Intern- working in the Institutional Sales Support Team, includes attending client meetings, building relationships, conducting competitor analysis reports, salesforce projects, data analysis, created new joiner onboarding resources etc
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, responsible for multiple projects, and taking notes during client meetings, was able to take ownership of projects that then enabled me to improve capacity for my team members

Yes, significant development to my confidence, professionalism, communication, adaptability, relationship building etc, but I have also improved my proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.

Lots- had a buddy on the grad scheme who I met with weekly, and had multiple check-ups with Early Careers, my manager and members of my team also offered me continuous support and guidance which I was really grateful for.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Great- welcoming, inclusive culture with a flat hierarchy, it never felt like anyone was too senior to spare me some time. Good work life balance
