Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Supporting the Strategy team in processes/frameworks/analytics
Run & support others on use of Workfront Project Management tool
Work with marketing teams across Disney EMEA + with marketing agencies to develop media strategy and plans
Support with adhoc requirements from department

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Fairly decent amount of responsibility - larger more impactful projects have oversight, however I was able to work on many decently sized projects with minimal management.

I've developed my soft skills greatly - communication, teamwork etc. I've also learnt Workfront, and developed better MS Office skills.

There's a Disney Intern program that teaches skills and runs classes, and my manager was always happy to help with support/guidance.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Really enjoyed it - plenty of varied work to do, opportunities to get involved in other programs or areas of business. Plenty of personal development opportunities.
