Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Within the Enterprise, Technology, and Performance department, I worked on assisting data migration tasks for ERP systems. Most of my work was conducted on spread sheets, and helping verify data quality.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A medium amount. People depended on my work and it was useful for the projects and companies I was working with, yet I was given room to make mistakes and trial different approaches.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Communication skills were practiced heavily through report writing, presentations, networking, etc. Taking initiative was a big theme as well. The work was not very technical in nature, but I got practice using Excel and got a glimpse into how ERP systems work.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Staff are very approachable and make time for interns. They are eager to support and share knowledge. However, sometimes busy workloads can get in the way, and so I personally got limited guidance from my manager, but other people in the team were able to step in and provide guidance.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very friendly and approachable. People wanted to engage with interns and integrate them into the teams. Staff were very chatty and always willing to chat to interns.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Enjoyed it very much as the environment was very social, energetic, and collaborative. There were many opportunities to socialise, and workload was always manageable.
