I took part in corporate tax work including tax questionnaires, tax computations, query logs, and calls with HMRC.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given tasks to complete independently and all work was reviewed. I didn’t get a lot of work and wasn’t ever in contact with clients.

I received a lot of support when completing new tasks and feedback in my work. I didn’t receive support when exploring other areas of the firm.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
It was okay, a nice introduction to corporate environments. The work wasn’t overly interesting and my people leader wasn’t knowledgeable nor helpful when I asked for a transfer to another area.
