Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I have many core responsibilities including forecasting, funnel dashboards, pulling spend reports, updating SFDC etc.. but I also have taken on many stretch tasks to further my exposure in different sales environments. This would include shadowing customer meetings or calls, and working with my team in strategically researching and contacting target firms.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

yes, from day 1 I felt like I had real responsibility in supporting my team.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills including, presentation skills, more advanced excel skills, communication skills in a sales environment and many more. I also feel that i have developed my confidence in approaching new people, and general conversation skills in a workplace setting. We have also had many training sessions where I have received detailed walkthroughs of HPE's portfolio.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Great! everyone is really welcoming and up for a chat whenever. The culture in Manchester is also great in a community sense where the whole office will get together after work on a Thursday.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

So far, i have greatly enjoyed my time at HPE! I genuinely cant think of a bad thing to say about my time so far and im very excited of whats to come.
