Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I worked within the Security team, offering support for Team members and the wider company with Cyber Security issues, ensuring legal standards and controls were adequately followed.
I also worked within the Release Team, helping escalate and progress IT and Business related changes that affect software/applications/services the wider company operates with.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

My level of responsibility increased over time as I learned more about the Company and Sector, at first it was mostly ad hoc tasks and regularly scheduled reporting and controls, but over time the number of these increased and I also had the opportunity to be involved in Project work.
