I was given a lot of responsibility, through the independent pieces of work I had to complete day to day. Management and analyst would often come to me requesting reports to aid their work, showing the trust and faith they had in me. I was also given regular ad-hoc work.

Firstly, I received plenty of support through my handover with the old intern and the video guides they provided. When they had left, there were three or four members of my team that I could go to about anything, and this help was extremely beneficial for whenever I ran into a problem.

I very much enjoyed my placement and my first experience of the Corporate Culture. My team consisted of knowledgeable and experienced colleagues who were all supportive and I was able to benefit massively from them both professionally and personally from being around them day to day. The experience was invaluable in terms of how it taught me what work actually looks like and what to expect in the future.
