Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Helping liase the end to end production of .com/support and e-learning content for engineers and agents. This involves communicating with subsidiaries on a daily basis for various reasons, whether it is following up on urgent or delayed tickets, requiring translations etc. It also involves reviewing e-learning content, whether it is up the standard or needs to be changed or modified in any way. I also produce weekly reports on multiple post-sales services we offer (Van service, premium service, VD premium service, switching desk) and post sales AI sentiment

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was, being able to communicate with subsidiaries all across Europe directly, and being able to push / verify content before going live (e-learning)

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Overall I enjoyed my placement, the people I met and skills I learnt. Although my personal experience was quite different to others. Before even joining, my manager was made redundant. When I came into my initial role, it felt unstructured from the handoff to daily tasks. It was not clear what my R&R were, I had a drought of tasks. Coming into my new role (being moved half way through the placement, as a member of another team left and they needed help), I learnt a lot more valuable skills, but needing to create / set my own PE goals did not make sense to me, considering I was new to the position. I also felt as my new role did not have a job description, some of my PE's were unstructured, leaving me disadvantaged.
