I sit in the CMI team in europe office. My day to day consists of ad hoc requests, daily deliverables, and set projects

Yes, i am in charge of several different responsibilities and manage key areas which involves coordinating with hundreds of people

I have learnt many new skills. Whether its how to write emails, talk to hundreds of stakeholders, write reports, use excel. Ive also learnt how to meaningfully analyse data

I have recieved a fair amount. Its relative to what ive asked for though. The people team have voiced all the different ways of getting support, but i think my manager helped me the most

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was really good. Samsung isnt like other firms, and they work very differently. I found that certain aspects are done based on culture etc, which can be difficult. I also think it depends what sub you are in, as i think seuk have a much better communal feel to it rather than eo

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed it. 8/10.
I have definetly been through ups and downs but thats utimately down to the transition into the world of work.
My team and my manager have been so welcoming and very helpful in aiding my development.

Yes

What advice would you give to others applying to Samsung Electronics

I think the main pieces of advice would be:
- get a proper schedule/structure in place. Its very easy to revert back to uni lifestyle, but staying consistent helps.
- do your best to standout. I find that a lot of the time credit isnt given where due, so make sure your name is out there.
