i had quite a bit at the start from onboarding and my manager. my manager was really good and lovely and i could talk to her about anything whenever, however did not have much contact with HR and the people team other than at the start.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
it’s a bit intense and everyone is workaholics and very results driven. all the placements and grads and apprentices were lovely

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
it was decent experience being in a corporate environment. i really liked all the placements and made some really good friends. as for the actual work i didn’t feel like i was given a lot of responsibilities and a lot of my job was just admin. i also feel like other people in different roles were given a lot more opportunities than i was

What advice would you give to others applying to Samsung Electronics
it’s a good company to have on your cv but it’s not what expected. i thought id be a bit more involved instead of being given all the admin tasks that the company just needs to be done. i didnt get many opportunities to lead anything compared to other people. i thought id be given a bit more responsibilities.
