VCA Managed Services Graduate Review

During my time in the graduate role, I had a highly valuable and well-rounded experience spanning from operational activities, to project management and consulting. It provided strong exposure to working across different business areas as well as a variation of different teams and stakeholders. It allowed me to develop a structured, problem solving mindset in a fast-paced and collaborative meeting.

Across my rotations, my responsibilities included:
- Supporting project delivery, including structuring analyses, developing client materials, and managing work-streams
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of key business tools
- Contributing to research and insights development, particularly for client-facing outputs and thought leadership
Elements I enjoyed the most:
The opportunity to own parts of deliverables early on, which accelerated my development and collaborating with diverse teams across the Europe.

I have consistently had opportunities to contribute meaningfully, particularly through ownership of specific workstreams and deliverables. The team is supportive and values input from junior members, which fosters both confidence and professional growth.

The compensation package was very generous and has been a large factor in my choice to stay with the business.

I consistently felt I had both the support and opportunity to stretch myself in order to develop my skills.

For the most part, I had ample access and support from my managers.

Given the nature of consulting, I would say that the work-life balance is reasonable and better than other consulting firms.
