Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
My experience has been incredible, you do 4 placements and I have enjoyed all of them, gained such a breadth of knowledge and managers have been there every step of the way to ensure I can thrive and get the most out of the experience.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Project management across retail and product marketing has been great. Its been great to own projects from start to finish and have the autonomy to do it how I best please. It is also awesome to work with future carlines and retail areas for such an iconic British brand.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I actively work on my own projects with the opportunity to create meaningful outcomes.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

It is good, with savings on shopping and also lots of health benifits. The pay is also really good for the midlands
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

It feels good, except there isnt a set path after the grad scheme like some other schemes
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

There is a great upskilling process using outside agencies to ensure everyone is upskilled. Our pay increase relies on doing well in it too so this ensures we continue to complete it.

I cant fault the company culture. They give you mentors, buddies and they support throughout. Nothing is missing
How is your work-life balance?

Great work life balance, all mangers are also very appreciative of the fact you have a life to, this means if something happens you are actively pushed to do it. Also, remote working and variable working hours allows you to live a great life outside work.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

How would you rate JLR initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

From what I can see they are great, although as a white male i cant say I would know any differently.
How would you rate JLR CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

Great, considering we are an automotive company. It feels like we are doing everything we can to push CSR at all points of work and also the way we act.

Very good, except this is because i did an undergraduate here, so already knew what I was getting myself in for.
