Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I did 3 different placements in my time at JLR. In the Integration team, everyday would include downloading software onto the cars and testing them. In the Energy Platform Controls team, I worked on a project that included creating an automated tool. In the Semiconductor Resilience Team, I would look for replacement parts for components that were no longer available to order or were approaching obsolescence.

Yes, I was given projects to do that I had to deliver for the team I was in.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement. I had so many opportunities to be apart of events and clubs. I have definitely grown as a person and as an engineer in my time here.
