Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involved supporting the sales teams around quarterly forecasting by joining weekely calls that go through deals that are closing and then updating the forecast file. Additional tasks are around report building for teams and sales reps looking at how much accounts have previously spent and what on, further quote creation for customers.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, throughout the placement I have been given more responabilities and opportunities to get more involved with the teams.

I have developed sales skills through the sales program offered to interns. I have also developed excel skills and coding within the application to show weekly changes in forecast.

There was lots of support offered throughout my time on placement via my manager, people on my team and the intern program. I also received an mentor which gave me more confortable with challenges.
