Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Knight Frank?

I’ve had a very positive experience at Knight Frank. As a trainee surveyor, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a varied range of projects, particularly supporting property work for the Metropolitan Police, which has given me good exposure to real responsibilities early on. The team has been supportive, and I’ve been able to develop both my technical knowledge and practical skills alongside my degree apprenticeship. It’s been a valuable environment for learning and building confidence in the role.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

In my strategic consultancy rotation, my role focused heavily on research and analysis. This included gathering and organising data, carrying out market and location analysis, and supporting the development of client reports and recommendations. I particularly enjoyed the depth of research and the process of turning complex data into practical, strategic recommendations, which helped me better understand how real estate decisions align with wider business objectives.
During my Met Police rotation, my responsibilities have been more hands-on and wide-ranging across asset management. This has included supporting the day-to-day management of a large and diverse property portfolio, assisting with site inspections, and working on lease events such as rent reviews, renewals, and licences. I’ve also been involved in disposals, acquisitions, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve property-related issues.
