Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Manual and automated tests of our code base. Additionally I worked on automating workflows which were previously run manually.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Intern responsibilities such as writing the quarterly site newsletter, managing the tuck shop and planning charity events, in addition to my day job responsibilities.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
There was always someone I could go to. My team specifically was pretty divided in responsibility, so I could only go to some people in my team for help, however those who I could go to who understood the work I was doing, were really helpful.
