Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Knight Frank?

An excellent learning environment with lots of opportunities. People are generous with their time and provide lots of advice and help.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

I would say that I do the below fairly equally, and enjoy the blend of them:
- Development appraisals
- Advice letters
- Brochure writing
- inspections/viewings
- negotiating
- drafting heads of terms
- pitch writing
- valuations
- giving presentations

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

5/5
I feel like I am an important part of the team, and that I am given responsibility.

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

3/5
I think that the pay could be higher, and that there could be a slightly more specific bonus scheme/transparency around this.

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

5/5
I feel like I am being given so many opportunities and experience.

How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

5/5

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?

5/5
The support is excellent - there are many people that I can turn to who will offer me advice or help me. I like the structured appraisal and early career sessions too.

How is your work-life balance?

4/5
I work quite long hours (8:30-6pm), but do get to go home after that and switch off which, compared to many, is great! I also get a study day on a Friday which I really appreciate.

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

4/5
at it's heart, the culture and values are very good. The atmosphere is currently quite tense, as there are some changes going on in the firm.

How would you rate Knight Frank initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

3/5
There are ERGs which are helpful, but I think that this is something that they are working on.

How would you rate Knight Frank CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

3/5
They have a great scheme called Limitless, but it isn't yet widely publicised.
