Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

On a day to day basis, my role varies from overseeing our customer engagement programme with Tottenham Hotspur, driving internal communications and storytelling through a range of mediums including published internal magazines. Other roles include supporting our company's resource groups, and creating content such as videos.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes! I have been able to take on a range of stretch projects that have allowed me to organise my time, set myself deadlines and complete a project away from my day role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

My time management skills have dramatically improved as the fast-pace and diverse nature of the role means I need to organise my time to ensure tasks with differing deadlines are completed to a high quality. I have also developed my existing design skills, being given freedom to create video content, communications and internal branding.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture at HPE is a huge part of the company. From corporate volunteering days to the wide range of Resource Groups, HPE's culture is unlike anything you would get to experience at another company.
