Facilities Operations Intern Review

In this role, I support a busy projects team responsible for workplace projects, real estate transactions, and facilities management. I’m involved in both day-to-day operations, including financial management and lease administration, as well as larger projects such as office relocations, refurbishments, and new office builds.
The role has given me exposure to different areas of the business, allowing me to understand the varying needs of each business unit and how to deliver consistent operational support while helping create innovative and efficient workplace environments.

Yes. I had to produce several reports on a very frequent basis for very senior leaders.
Responsible for a lot of senior leadership deliverables.

Several skills both technical and social.
Social: presentation, communication, confidence, collaboration, teamwork
Technical: excel, power BI, reporting, process enhancements
all reached a very high level if proficiency, some were completely new to me.

a lot of guidance from my manager and director. the early careers team also helped a lot in the early stages

its friendly and collaborative. everyone is very kind and good at what they do. it is also serious and dedicated at the same time, work is done, work is expected, but moral and happiness is always prioritised

to the maximum extent. i have made friends for life, i have loved my team the entire way through. ive created such a strong friendship with my team and have taken part into so many extra opportunities that have put me in some amazing opportunities
