Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Chair weekly change and project boards with senior leadership to provide project updates, strengthening strategic communication and presentation skills.
• Manage the International Governance process, preparing and distributing high-quality reports and stakeholder presentations to support decision-making and compliance.
• Efficiently manage procurement workflows using SAP, including creating and raising purchase orders (POs) and processing invoices.
• Complete data analysis and visualisation using Power BI and Excel to identify efficiencies, support operational improvements and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Lead multiple projects end-to-end, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork by adapting to shifting requirements, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, international setting.
• Strengthening communication and interpersonal skills through regular engagement with cross-functional teams and key global stakeholders.
- Updated the internal SharePoint site to provide a consistent and comprehensive information sharing portal
- AdHoc tasks to support the IMO team

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It's good. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help. There is a big emphasis on employee groups and they do a lot of events which makes the culture feel very inclusive. Everyone is big on being in the office though and that is quite strict.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it. The early careers team are great at making everyone feel welcome. There are a lot of perks e.g. merch, early screenings, friends & family screenings and prizes. It would be good to get more exposure to different business units and/or more structured learning opportunities.
