Marketing Intern, Hayu Review

Supporting role in delivering marketing activities across brand, PR, events and partnerships. Day-to-day - a broad range of tasks from managing and organising partner assets and creative briefs, to helping influencer activities, press gifting, presentation creation and managing day to day finances, the role will work across our multiple EMEA territories. This internship will give you a good exposure to multiple marketing channels and an opportunity to develop multiple skills in a fast-paced environment. Whilst it is a brand marketing role, you collaborate across the entire marketing team and become knowledgable across the whole marketing funnel.

Some projects and initiatives I had full ownership and responsibility. This included some business partner relationships, creating merchandise, influencer gifting campaigns to name a few.
Others - I acted as an assistant and dipped in and out throughout the project. I had various ad-hoc tasks outside my wider projects to keep me engaged throughout the day :)

Yes - I have learnt several new skills across the entire marketing function.
Hard skills such as industry-level software and platforms. Campaign management and planning, financial and legal processes, creative briefing.
Soft skills - communication, planning, time management, organisation.

I felt very supported and guided with weeky 1-1s and multiple formal performance reviews. I was never nervous going into these, it was always a learning and feedback experience - very supportive. The wider team were always open to any questions and coffee chats.

Great experience overall - wonderful team and meaningful work. Unfortunately, unexpected switch from 3-days in office to 4-days impacted company morale. High level of responsibility led to some stressful moments - but overall very positive - wouldn't change it!
