Business & Legal Affairs Intern Review

Collaborate with lawyers and contract managers drafting agreements and legal documents related to consumer product licensing arrangements, retail/marketing activations, NDA’s and service agreements.
Assist in tracking and following up on contracts that have been sent externally for review and signature, ensuring deals are brought to completion within designated timeframes.
Prepare documents for electronic signature and ensure signed contracts, amendments are correspondence are archived and organised within our internal document management systems.
Support the B&LA department with additional tasks as needed to achieve business and speed-to-market goals.
Work closely with commercial, finance, franchise, creative, and other legal teams within the company, offering valuable insight to how we protect and licence our brands.

Yes. Contract drafting, legal research, communicating with business partners. Grew existing skills within a commercial environment and learnt my legal skills from scratch (as a non-law graduate). I met all of my individual goals in drafting licensing agreements, promo agreements, NDAs, customs letters, etc.

Lots of support- weekly check ins with manager and other team members. Frequent events put on by early careers to check in. Felt thoroughly supported and part of a close knit team.

Incredibly friendly, plenty of internal initiatives to be involved with. Partook in Million Makers where I worked on the annual charity gala.

Very much, thoroughly enjoyed day to day role alongside company initiatives tied to the King's Trust. Development exceeded expectations.
