Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves serving BI reporting and analytics across the business on a day-to-day basis. Through my employer I have been able to enroll on and work towards a Level 6 apprenticeship as part of my role which has been challenging but very rewarding, it's great that these opportunities are afforded to employees here at the company.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I've enjoyed my programme to date; there are a plethora of resources and support here at Pearson to ensure we have everything we need to exceed on the programme! It has been particularly enjoyable to share this experience with my colleagues who are also on the programme within the company.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have massively developed my python programming and machine learning skills, as well as soft skills relating to implementing these within the business with existing stakeholders as well as identifying and recruiting new stakeholders.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well organised and structured at Pearson, there are apprentice hours earmarked on a weekly basis to allow us time to communicate any concerns or ideas we have.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel very supported by my employer, they are always checking in to ensure I feel supported and have everything I need to excel in my day-to-day role as well as expanding on my existing skillset and broaden my horizons to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has equally provided me with a similar level of support!
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification I am undertaking has been very useful for making me able to perform better in my role; I am able to identify business problems and subsequent solutions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have various sports teams and also networking events on a regular basis to engage with like minded colleagues.
