Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role at Mott Macdonald involved supporting the environmental consultants and specialists on various tasks including Geographical Information Systems (GIS), various reports including Environmental Scoping Reports, Environmental Assessments (EA) Reports (EAR) as well as the formatting of these. I also calculated Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) for various projects, completed Water Quality and Drainage assessments and Ecological Surveys to determine UK habitats, bats crossings/roosts, birds identification, badger set counts, dormouse nests set up and checks and air quality monitoring. Furthermore, I collated Planning Policies and Legislation, attended internal
and external meetings and webinars, supported with Stakeholder engagement and Survey management tasks, BID work and CV management. The role was primarily focus on the environmental aspects but also covered societal and political aspects.

Yes, this was proportional to my current experience and was aimed towards building knowledge and self-development, with the support of my line manager.
