Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
Project Management/Design Management Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Work with the designers and subcontractors to ensure all drawings and documentation are completed, signed off and accepted before work can commence on site.
- Track and respond to design queries that may arise during the construction phase.
- Track construction progress along the programme as the project commences.
- Ensure all designs/works have been coordinated between all the parties involved.
- Ensure all scope gaps are identified and instructed with all the necessary information.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
- Regular CPD sessions with your cohort.
- Support from the Emerging Talent team.
Cons:
- Delayed explanations on chartership processes and end point assessments.
- Lack of visibility on projects across the company.

Writing skills:
- I can communicate in a more formal manner with correctly structured information to address the relevant person/party.
People skills:
- I am able to better facilitate communication between people in different roles and with different temperaments.
