Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mace Construct?
Overall, I would say my experience at Mace construct was a positive one. The support and guidance you get from people on your project (not just your line manager) and everyone's willingness to help makes it an easy place to work. The hours can be long and it can be intense at times, but you are given the opportunity and space to learn.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main responsibilities:
- Oversaw short term planning (slowly gained more responsibility as I gained more experience)
- Produces phasing plans
- Oversaw monitoring of resources - cranes, labour numbers etc
- Small sections of the master programme
- Misc tasks (to assist with development and to help the team out)

Learning everyday. Being in the office everyday and around senior leaders often assists with that.

- Most people on the project are supportive both in and out of work
How is your work-life balance?

Depending on your commute, it can vary. 8am starts aren't always easy and if your project is very intense there can be late finishes. Overall, I've been quite fortunate that finishes after 5pm are rare as a graduate.
